THE PASSION OF LOVE AND GENEVIEVE SABOURIN

by Bernard Bujold (LeStudio1.com) -
Geneviève Sabourin, the Quebec actress struggling with the American justice after her relationship with actor Alec Baldwin has committed a serious error and that is to be romantic rather than pragmatic. It is obvious that an international superstar like Baldwin can not be really interested in a young unknown actress. In life, nothing is free and if the offer is too good to be true, it usually is. Geneviève Sabourin was seduced by Baldwin but he did not.
I could have find myself in the same situation as Geneviève as I have fallen in love many time with superstars that I met in my work. But I have a natural defense, I'm pragmatic and I always realized when the game was outside my qualifications. The English say: 'Your are out of your league... " At least three times, big stars have crossed my path and in my head I was thinking (a few hours) that maybe I was the man for the woman with whom I was sharing a little friendship . But I always reasoned quickly: I had nothing to offer to the star other than my good feelings of love, but life is not made of love and clear water...
It is very sad that Genevieve has shattered her life because the game was unwinnable for her with Alec Baldwin. She had nothing else to offer to the great actor but love and water and, in real life, it is never enough!

Genevieve Sabourin and the American Justice

by Bernard Bujold (LeStudio1) -
The Quebec actress Geneviève Sabourin will be in front of the American Justice in a week from now, on November 27, unless there is an out of court settlement. The accused is concerned about the objectivity of an eventual trial because the plaintive, the American actor Alex Baldwin, is considered an icon in New York and he is friends with several New York politicians. He is also the spokesperson for the campaign: “I love New York.” The story of Geneviève Sabourin is reminiscent of two other famous cases where defendants have both criticized the lack of objectivity of the justice system in the United States, that of Conrad Black and the Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s case Stay tuned!

SALON DU LIVRE DE MONTRÉAL 2012

By Bernard Bujold (LeStudio1.com) -
The 35th Salon du livre de Montreal welcomes readers until Monday, November 19. More than 1700 writers are on site and they meet their readers. Among them we see stars like Kathy Reichs, Bishop Christian Lépine, Janette Bertrand, Denis Monette, Alain Lefèvre, Louise Penny, photographer Charles-Henri Debeur, Michelle Blanc and many others. But the real star of the show in 2012 is once again this year Kathy Reichs whose popularity is no doubt. You should have seen the line of fans outside his booth asking for a signature or photo while the author Denise Bombardier installed beside watched Kathy with a touch of envy...
Also to notice at the Salon 2012 is the official guide published by La Presse. This 2012 guide will become a collector's item, or good for the trash, because the date on the cover is wrong and mentions that the show runs from November 16 to 21 when it ends November 19th...

A ROMANTIC WALK...

By Bernard Bujold (LeStudio1.com) -
I have always said that I'm not a romantic and I consider myself a pragmatist. There is however one occasion where I am a romantic in the heart and that is when I walk through the city behind a beautiful unknown girl. When our steps separate, I am always nostalgic to think that, probably, our paths will cross again no more...

JULIANNA MARGULIES -The Good Wife

by Bernard Bujold (LeStudio1.com) -
One of the best actresses on television, Julianna Margulies, was recently invited by David Letterman on CBS.
The series THE GOOD WIFE is a greater success than expected at the launching in 2009 as the baseline scenario was based on the love adventures of a politician from New York (based on the the real story of Eliot Spizer). The script and the show however transformed to become a real look at the world of large law firms. The star Julianna Margulies took advantage of her visit to David Letterman to tell about the birthday gift she recently offered to her real life husband, a man she loves and that she has no intention to deceive...

JAMES BOND - SKYFALL...

by Bernard Bujold (LeStudio1.com) -
The new James Bond film is truly exceptional. In the style of Batman movies, the new Bond is however better located in reality both in terms of images and the script. The actors are also exceptional. Personally I love the new Eve Moneypenny...
If there is a feature that will remain in the minds of fans, it is nevertheless the china dog Jack the Bulldog...
A movie to watch!

David Petraeus, Alec Baldwin, Paula Broadwell et Geneviève Sabourin...

 by Bernard Bujold (LeStudio1.com) -
The case David Petraeus brings to the forefront more than ever secret romantic relationships by well known public figures. The saga between Petraeus and the author of his biography, Paula Broadwell, is a lot like that other love saga between actor Alec Baldwin and Quebec Geneviève Sabourin. Disappointed women who want to fight for their relations with the person loved despite the person desire to get away from it. The internet and social media also play an new and important role in the dynamics of relationships and especially its consequences. Conclusion: As said Prince Philip, husband of Queen Elizabeth II: "There are two sort of person in the live of human beings, the pragmatic and the romantic. I'm a pragmatist and my life is much easier to manage."
Prince Philip is 91 years old!

MICHELLE BLANC - HER BIOGRAPHY

by Bernard Bujold (LeStudio1.com) -
The biography of Michelle Blanc, the well known internet expert, is a book that tackles a non-standard subject but more and more present in today's society: the sex change. Michelle Blanc was born a man but his genes are such that he feels his body as being that of a woman. Michelle's biography shows that the most unusual situation are nonetheless present in our daily lives and in our neighborhood. The various testimonies are giving evidence that the exception to the rules does not really exist and that all cases considered abnormal can be found all around us, as many as normal situations. It is a matter of perception by us in face of our environment. The biography of Michelle Blanc reveals the personal journey of Michelle but also, and perhaps more importantly, morals changing in Quebec since the Duplessis Orphans in the 1960s until today in 2012. A book that is likely to become a document on film.
A book to be read!

What if US Election is a tie?

By Bernard Bujold (LeStudio1.com) - Assuming no rogue electors and a tie outcome, then under the 12th Amendment of the Constitution, the task of sending someone to the Oval Office falls to Congress. The House of Representatives chooses the president; the Senate chooses the vice-president.
Mitt Romney could be President with Joe Biden as the Vice-President!

Gaétan Frigon - Candidate Mayor of Montreal

By Bernard Bujold (leStudio1.com) -
Gaétan Frigon is the perfect profile to run for mayor of Montreal. The interview on the french program Les Francs Tireurs summarizes the character that looks at several levels like the mayor of Quebec. One handicap: his age! Is a leader who will be 73 during the 2013 elections is too old to serve as mayor of Montreal? That's the only issue, because otherwise Gaétan Frigon is the perfect candidate!

TRIBUTE TO RENÉ LÉVESQUE

By Bernard Bujold (LeStudio1.com) -
RENE LEVESQUE died on 1 November 1987.
I have known this politician during three periods of my life.
First, in 1977 at the National Assembly of Quebec when I was young parliamentary correspondent. Because Rene and I were from the Gaspé Peninsula (New Carlisle him and me St. Simeon of Bonaventure) we had one thing in common when we crossed paths in the corridors of the National Assembly. He loved to tell me about the Gaspésie and in particular he knew Geneviève Bujold... Then I get to know René through Pierre Peladeau for which I was the personal assistant from 1991 to 1996. Peladeau was a personal friend and very close to René Lévesque. He often spoke with me about his discussions between him and Rene on the edge of his swimming pool in St-Adèle. Finally, I worked on a project to protect and enhance the birthplace of René Lévesque in New Carlisle. This project was not successful but I had the opportunity to discuss with Corinne Côté-Lévesque.
René was a man with many weaknesses, but he had a great moral honesty, and he believed in democracy. I remember one day when I wanted to ask him a question about a small topic related to the Gaspé Peninsula. I was embarrassed to ask the question in front of other journalists and I approached René after the conference. He told me to ask my question in front of the other even if it was not an important issue. I should not feel smaller than the other reporter even from large medias...
René believed in democracy and human justice. He was a great politician, but to me it was mostly a great journalist, probably the biggest I've seen in my career!
