AUTUMN MORNING BY THE LAKE -
By Bernard Bujold -
Of all the seasons, the most magical is autumn for its colors especially on a sunny morning by the lake. Have a good fall 2020!

THE ART OF SHOPPING IN 2020

THE ART OF SHOPPING...
 By Bernard Bujold -
Since I was a child, I've always liked to store. In 2020, I still like to walk around the stores but with the coronavirus, we can say that the merchants are scattered...
I wanted to enjoy my Saturday in the city and went to Holt Renfrew Ogilvy in downtown Montreal.
In another life and another time, I loved to buy beautiful ties at often $50 each. You could say that the prices have gone up slightly since my time...
In fact, I noticed a backpack that seemed to me attractive to carry my snack during my bike rides. Unfortunately at the price of 2,700$, several times the price of my bike, I had to forget about the lust for this object and instead concluded my shopping visit with a coffee and a book at Indigo at a discount...

THE US PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES 2020

US PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES 2020
By Bernard Bujold -
The first Presidential Debate (September 28) was a sort of street fight resulting with three mens to mat for the count of 10: the two debaters as well as the moderator of the debate, Chris Wallace.
The second debate (October 22) was more of a draw but if there is one real winner it is the moderator, White House journalist Kristen Welker and Wallace said it himself after the debate: he is jealous...
The moderator Welker delivered what should be a fair debate and she was the perfect moderator. However, one could conclude that the second debate did not move the needle and the Presidential Election 2020 will have to be fight on another battle field before November 3rd 2020.
To be continued...

THE UNIVERSITY OF OTTAWA AND THE MONTREAL MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS

THE UNIVERSITY OF OTTAWA AND THE MONTREAL MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS-
By Bernard Bujold -
There is a strong similarity between the current situation at the University of Ottawa and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Indeed, in both cases, the heads of the two institutions, Jacques Frémont in Ottawa and Michel de la Chenelière in Montreal, made a decision that seriously undermined their respective institutions. In the case of the MBAM, the consequences are well known and the two main players, de la Chenelière and Nathalie Bondil, lost their positions and the Museum lost the reputation for excellence it had around the world. In the case of Ottawa, my projection is that Rector Frémont will have to leave his position because of the current and worsening crisis; the young professor Verushka Lieutenant-Duval will have to change universities to teach; and the reputation of the University of Ottawa will be seriously tarnished around the world.
If there is one conclusion, it is that our institutions, even giant ones, can be destroyed overnight if leaders are not careful. In my opinion, Frémont and de la Chenelière are proof of this recklessness with devastating consequences!
Good luck to the survivors!

DONALD TRUMP 2020 - A RED WAVE

US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION 2020
By Bernard Bujold
The US Presidential Election is now two weeks away on November 3rd. According to the President Donald Trump, it will be a "RED WAVE"!
It will be what it will be but one must be ready and have the proper suit for a "RED WAVE" if one happens. A nice red tie with a dark blue suit.
And as the supporters say at the rallies: "WE LOVE TRUMP."
