BALCONY OF THE MONTRÉAL CITY HALL - 2017
By Bernard Bujold On July 24, 1967, the Général de Gaulle pronounced his famous; " LONG LIVE THE FREE QUEBEC..." What's better in 2017 than going to revisit the famous balcony and play, for a short moment, the game of the General ... I poked on the balcony and shouted loudly: "LONG LIVE THE VISITORS...
If the balcony of 2017 was the same as the one of 1967, there was however a little less people watching me during my visit ... Further more, not wanting to visit the Montreal City Hall without thinking about our current mayor, after the Balcony, I went back down to the town main hall room and sat for a few minutes in the official seat of the mayor, the 5th of the line occupied by his political party. "Long live the tourists"
