The investigation report on the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is available online and the Ministry intends to change the law to better control the use of its grant.
Moreover, according to my reading of Daniel Beaupré's report, Pierre Bourgie would be in conflict of interest to hold the presidency of the museum because of his music room (Article 9 of the report on page 16 and paragraph 2.3 on page 31).
The new president may have to resign even before being appointed.
