THE CHSLD RESIDENCE HERRON AND OTHER FRANÇOIS LEGAULT GOVERNMENT EMERGENCIES

The management and owner of the Herron residence in Dorval (Groupe Katasa) is referring the responsibility for the current situation to the government administration (CIUSSS) while the latter is referring it to the private management. The dispute is taking on the appearance of a tennis ball and will most likely be settled between lawyers and before a judge! It should be noted that at the same time, several other CHSLDs in the province, not belonging to the group that owns Herron, are facing the same emergency situation with several serial deaths since the beginning of March. We can conclude that François Legault's government is now facing three very serious crises: 1. The Coronavirus crisis among the entire population throughout its territory; 2. the crisis of the provincial economic recovery, which is currently suspended until at least May 4; 3. and the crisis in seniors' housing throughout Quebec.
