TOLERANCE, FEAR, VENGEANCE AND RESILIENCE -

TOLERANCE, FEAR, VENGEANCE AND RESILIENCE -
By Bernard Bujold -
Human civilization is largely based on four principles of survival:
1. tolerance;
2. fear;
3. revenge (punishment);
4. resilience.
We can see this phenomenon worldwide and in particular currently in the United States and Quebec. If "half" of Americans must have been tolerant of Donald Trump, they are now in revenge mode! In Quebec, citizens are tolerant of confinement because they are afraid, afraid of fines in the event of non-compliance with the instructions of Prime Minister François Legault ...
Personally, I'm more of the resilient type but I'm never scared. Revenge, however, I knew well, in particular after the death of the founder of Quebecor, Pierre Péladeau. Among the hundreds of Quebec leaders (Quebec Inc) who said they admired him during his lifetime (for fear of his financial influence), the majority openly displayed their contempt immediately after his death.
The Quebec Inc of the time reminds me of many modern politicians, Republican and global, who tolerated Donald Trump out of fear during his mandate but who today display their contempt, including Justin Trudeau ...
Conclusion: let's never forget that everything ended up passing by, both misfortune and happiness. For this reason, resilience is the best option, and the least painful.
Good luck!
