MIKE DUFFY - AN HONEST MAN ...

BY BERNARD BUJOLD -
Mike Duffy is not a thief! He is a greedy but a greedy honest...
His story is similar to the one of a customer at IGA! There is a difference between a customer who leaves the store without paying for a bottle of wine hidden in his bag; and another customer devouring four mouthfuls rather than one at the table of free tastings.
Mike Duffy is the greedy customer but does not stole.
I've known Mike when he was a journalist with CTV. He was a fair play man and always very nice but he loved the luxury. For a while he was riding in a Roll Royce (rented on his expense account) to impress the listeners of his TV show. But Duffy was not a thief,  just a journalist who was reading his contracts and use of the possibilities offered by employers.
QUESTION: Who among us has never taken a second bite at the free tasting table in IGA (or a COSTCO)?

PENELOPE MCQUADE - PHOTOGRAPHER AND AUTHOR

DONALD TRUMP WINS BIG IN NEW YORK

BY BERNARD BUJOLD - The strong victory of Donald Trump in New York (April 19, 2016) will give him back the winning momentum for his campaign and all the political observers are predicting that this New York victory should also bring him the Republican victory as the official candidate against the Democrats.
All over United States, the Donald Trump's fans are very happy and, even in Canada, some supporters have been seen in front of the City Hall of Montreal...

EUGENIE AT THE COTTAGE

by Bernard Bujold -
The spring season is an opportunity to prepare well for the warmer activities that should be following, with the summer.
I decided to put all chances on my side to facilitate Eugenie decision to accept my invitation to a bike ride in 2016.
I prepared for her a nice well-oiled and well-adjusted bicycle.
I even put out the little bench that I have set in front of the pond cottage...
It lacks only the beautiful Eugenie!

THE MODERN JOURNALISM IN 2016 - THE PANAMA PAPERS

By Bernard Bujold -
In the past, a serious scandal might take years before being known and their consequences to become a reality. In today modern journalism, a scandal only takes hours before being known to the whole world and the application of consequences for those implicated are often days behind the first publication.
The "Panama Papers" are a good example of the modern journalism!

THOMAS MULCAIR - REJECTION OF THE APPLICATION

By Bernard Bujold -
Thomas Mulcair wanted deeply to get the job and he did everything to win the job interview for the NDP leader position.
Unfortunately for Thomas, the employer refused his offer and in a proportion of 52% of the delegates present at the party congress, held from April 8 to 10, 2016 in Edmonton, who voted to hold a leadership convention. They want a new leader!
Mulcair was so disappointed with the rejection of his application that he proposed to do the job until the hiring of a new chief. Will his proposal hit the road? To be continued...

DONALD TRUMP AND HIS ART OF WINNING

By Bernard Bujold (LeStudio1)-
The political Republican campaign of Donald Trump is more than a political race. It is also a test for the theory of "POSITIVE THINKING".
Indeed the whole concept in THE ART OF THE DEAL, which is the road map of Trump political race, is similar to all other positive thinking concepts either be the one of a Robert Schuller (TOUGH TIMES NEVER LAST, BUT TOUGH PEOPLE DO - 1983) or before him the theory by a Napoleon Hill (THINK AND GROW RICH - written in 1937). In all those theories, it is the same base:" You have to think great and you will achieve great".
Donald Trump resumed his book in 1987 by saying at the beginning of it:
" I like thinking big. I always have. To me it's very simple: If you are going to be thinking anyway, you might as well think big..."
Will Donald Trump win his 2016 race and become President? For me it is more the race of the positive thinking philosophy. If Donald wins, the positive philosophy will also be a winner. If not, then they will be both a failure...

ANDERSON COOPER AND GLORIA VANDERBILT - THE RAINBOW COMES AND GOES

By Bernard Bujold (LeStudio1)-
My reading for this spring 2016 will be the new book by Anderson Cooper and his mother Gloria Vanderbilt: THE RAINBOW COMES AND GOES.
This book is a love message from a son to his mother and a mon's life lesson to his son. If many know Anderson because of CNN; his mother (92 years old) is like an icon of New York because of the Vanderbilt heritage. The Vanderbilt family is an American family of Dutch origin that was prominent during the Gilded Age. Their success began with the shipping and railroad empires of Cornelius Vanderbilt, and the family expanded into various other areas of industry and philanthropy.
This book is very interesting and very well written. It is like if you have in your living room both Anderson and Gloria.
A must read!
