SUNDAY OF OCTOBER 2020 IN THE COUNTRYSIDE

SUNDAY OF OCTOBER 2020 IN THE COUNTRYSIDE -
By Bernard Bujold -
Autumn 2020 is the victim of the coronavirus but nature doesn't seem to mind and walks in the forest continue to be a kind of theater close to paradise ...
We must take advantage of life's pleasures when they are offered to us because misfortunes will impose themselves without invitation! Long live autumn in October!

And we will say that the major media in Quebec are honourable?
The column of the journalist of La Presse is unbelievable by its violence...
And we are asked to give financial donations to encourage their journalism!

POLITICAL DISCOURSE IN 2020

POLITICAL DISCOURSE IN 2020
By Bernard Bujold -
Historically, political discourse has been polarized and has always looked like a sports competition with fans on both sides.
In the past, the debate was isolated in the cities and towns but
Today, with social media, the polarization is global and in the present moment.
Since the Coronavirus it is impossible to go and chat with neighbors and the mask has the advantage of cutting short the podium discussions but on social media, the battle is more than ever violent and divided in two.
What is the solution?
Go vote on election day, and then forget about it until the next vote, trying to survive as best you can with the result!
Dates of the upcoming elections:
Donald Trump: November 3, 2020;
Valérie Plante: November 7, 2021;
François Legault: October 3, 2022;
Justin Trudeau: October 16, 2023.
Good luck and, as the Americans say: "Enjoy!".

THE GASPE PENINSULA OF MY CHILDHOOD...

THE GASPE PENINSULA OF MY CHILDHOOD
By Bernard Bujold -
Often in the evening, when I fall asleep, I dream of the Gaspésie of my childhood...
A sad awakening this morning (September 30, 2020) while reading in Le Devoir that the small region of the Baie des Chaleurs is the one most affected by cases of Coronavirus compared to the rest of Quebec!
Seems that the sweet memory of my native "Gaspésie" is only a memory and far from the reality of 2020...
