The website Quebec89 survived for only 6 months. This news did not surprise the creator of LeStudio1.com (a similar site). According to Bernard Bujold:"No independent website can survive without the collaboration of convergence with a large media group. LeStudio1.com has understood that last year and we had to stop sending the weekly newsletter at the beginning of this year last January after 5 years of regular but fruitless efforts to make the project profitable.
